Using Bollards for vehicle theft deterrence in Toronto.

Recently Toronto Police at 53 Division posted this photo to social media promoting a home that had retractable steel bollards installed. While reactions in the comments was mixed, there is no denying that this is an effective method of vehicle theft deterrence.
Unfortunately, vehicle theft is a growing problem in the GTA. Criminals target vehicles that can be reprogrammed and started with speed, by creating additional physical barriers to overcome, you can significantly reduce your odds of becoming a victim of this crime. se and the stainless steel barrier folds down to the ground, simply drive over top.
The second option is our double-locking retractable bollard, an effective security solution that can be locked in both extended (upright) and lowered (retracted) positions.
